The Hazlet police, not the best i ever encountered. One night me and my work colleague were leaving shoprite of Hazlet , we had finished our shift at 11pm. We sat in the car for a while in the employee parking lot. we wanted to hang out for a while because we were tired after a long day. At some point a cop comes up to the window with his flashlight and asked to see our identification, he did not really give a reason for why he came up to us. He just identified himself and asked to see our ID. At which point we gave it to him because the last thing you want to do is argue with a cop and get yourself into trouble. At that point he asked what we were doing and we told him we were employees of shoprite and that we just finished work. He then goes to his car and checks our IDs and i guess he thought we were crooks because a back up car came and sat their while he was looking us up. After he checked us out and everything was fine he tells his back up to leave. He then comes back to our car and asks us if we are working the next day, we said yes. He handed us back our IDs and walked away without he even saying a word. He was not very nice to us and we did not do anything wrong. Most Monmouth county cops are very good and professional, but this department wins the award for most unprofessional Police officers. I guess the cop was board and had nothing better to do with his time.

I call these people concern about my neighbor she lives by herself and maybe goes out once a week I did not see her for more than that she is almost 90 years old the guy in blue showed up checked and she was ok I was great full then he tells me I could file a false police report what was false?I was worried about her should of got the losers name . I think I will follow up on this.
